well i wouldn't say stereotype, but it's definitely cultural. my neighbour went to morocco this summer and
that's how guys are there... and girls like it. it's the same in mexico. girls actually like it when guys whistle at them and go like AYAYAYAYAY
MAMA!!!! but we don't here. we've all been socialized to think it's degrading and annoying but there it's perfectly fine. it's the equivalent of guys

no well i get that its cultural as well, but at least here (germany is full of turkish people and arabs and stuff, turkish mostly i think), it is a
stereotype to think that turkish people are creepy flirty old men............. and i feel bad for feeling that way because i know a few turkish people
who are seriously so far away from that stereotype.
but idk i live in a really "ghetto" area ie. lots of foreigners, mostly turkish and russian people....... and i haaate when i go to the gym, it's in
this little shopping part and there's always like 23089420934 teenage turkish guys hanging outside and EVERY SINGLE TIME someone has to make some sort
of comment. idk :/ i guess it's kinda flattering but it's also really embarrassing and stuff. ugh.

oh yeah no none of the russians here talk either. its mostly the arab/turkish people. i don't know where most of them come from tbh.... turkey mainly
but lots of other places as well.
ive only really talked to a russian person once, this woman at the grocery store was asking me if two types of cream were the same  but i hear people speaking russian all the time and there's a russian store and a
russian restaurant near my place.......
